1996

The Beginning

Costa started his first job at Beechdale Fishbar, Nottingham, helping make and serve his Uncle Paul’s famous lamb doners. His kebabs were legendary, and it’s where Costa learned the craft.

2003

Declining Standards

Costa moved to Birmingham and was shocked to see processed kebabs becoming the norm, far from the quality he was used to. It didn’t sit right with him.

2007

UK Kebabs is Born

Costa founded UK Kebabs in 2010. His mission: Become a trusted UK kebab meat supplier and offer the largest range of high-quality doner and chicken kebabs.

2013

The Natural Kebab

As industry standards dropped, Costa launched the UK’s first Natural Doner Kebab, free from additives and cheap fillers. When the Horse Meat Scandal hit, their quality-first approach helped double the business.

2024

A Clear Focus

After considering a merger, Costa returned to his true passion, supplying 100% natural, high-quality kebabs and helping others in the industry do the same.
